Is The Post Office Open Today? Not On July 4th.

Post Offices will be closed on Monday, July 4th, 2011 in observance of the July 4th holiday. There will be no mail delivery or mail collection on Monday. Express Mail will be delivered in many locations.

Some Post Offices will be closed or curtail hours in advance of Independence Day. Revised hours will be posted at each office to answer the question, "is the post office open today?".

All Post Offices will be open and regular mail delivery will resume on Tuesday, July 5, 2011.
