New Year's Holiday Shipping Company Schedules
New Year's 2009 holiday shipping company schedules:
USPS: The US Postal Service will be open and delivering normally on Thursday, December 31, 2009. Post offices will be open however most will close at noon. Post offices will be closed and there will be no mail delivery on Friday, January 1, 2010, with the exception of Express Mail in major metro areas. Normal hours and services will resume Saturday, January 2.
UPS: UPS will be delivering air and international packages on December 31 however no ground pickup or delivery will take place. No delivery will take place on January 1, with the exception of Express Critical packages.
FedEx: FedEx will be following a regular pickup and delivery schedule on December 31. No delivery will take place on January 1, with the exception of FedEx Custom Critical, FedEx SameDay and FedEx Next Flight shipments. Normal services will resume January 2.
DHL: DHL will follow a normal delivery schedule on December 31. DHL will be closed on January 1 with the exception of DHL Same Day Service shipments. Normal operating hours will resume January 2.
