New FedEx Freight Security Restrictions
In ongoing efforts to make the FedEx global express network even more secure, FedEx is working closely with security agencies around the world to implement security measures. In compliance with new directives, the following restrictions on cargo shipments are in effect:
Yemen: All shipments outbound from Yemen are suspended. This restriction went into effect at the end of October and will remain until further notice.
U.K.: Unless originating from a UK Department for Transport Known Consignor, shipments of ink or toner cartridges are not permitted to, from or via the UK if they are being transported within printing equipment and the cartridge weighs more than 500g (17.6 oz). All other restrictions on printer cartridges are lifted.
America Samoa: Due to regulatory compliance directives, certain commodities cannot be transported to America Samoa. Please contact FedEx for assistance regarding shipments to America Samoa.
