FedEx Japan Issues Earthquake Service Update
The 9.0-magnitude earthquake that struck eastern Japan on Friday, March 11 has affected FedEx Japan service. Our top priority remains the safety of our employees and the security of packages. FedEx Express® is accepting inbound shipments to eastern Japan, Guam, Okinawa and Saipan, with the exception of perishables, and inbound FedEx International Express Freight® (IXF), FedEx Airport-to-Airport® (ATA) and FedEx International Premium® (IP1) services. Unavoidable service delays should be expected in these areas. Pickup and delivery service in eastern Japan will resume, with the exception of the following areas:
