Purolator Enhances Online Package Tracking Privacy
Purolator announced today a step to further protect customers' privacy. Beginning May 28, 2011, all personal information including street, postal/zip code and company information will be removed from package tracking scans and will be replaced with city and province information.
To view a shipment's proof of delivery and delivery signature, you will be prompted to provide the following information along with your shipment's PIN / Tracking Number:
Canadian shipments
•The shipment's origin postal code or destination postal code or the Purolator Business Account number affiliated with the shipment

International shipments
•The shipment's origin postal code or destination country or the Purolator Business Account number affiliated with the shipment
Although personal information will no longer be available by entering the Tracking Number / PIN, the core tracking functionality will be preserved as your shipment travels through the Purolator network.
