FedEx Endorses U.S.-Colombia Trade Promotion Agreement

FedEx released a statement today regarding the US-Colombia Trade Promotion Agreement. In it FedEx embraces the opportunities for FedEx to Colombia as well as from Colombia. The statement is as follows:

"FedEx is pleased that the U.S. and Colombian governments have agreed to an action plan, which opens the door for Congressional approval of a U.S.-Colombia Free Trade Agreement. The agreement will generate new business opportunities for FedEx and its customers in the third largest economy in Central and South America. We urge the President to send the agreement to Congress for a prompt vote that would strengthen the U.S. economic recovery and help achieve the Administration's goal of doubling exports in five years."
